ABOUT JACK
Jack Santos is retired from his role as Research Vice President with Gartner.
He did cover organizational development, leadership and management practices, development practices, governance, vendor management, data and applications architecture, technical support, systems integration, security, Internet and e-business solutions.
But now he travels (well...maybe after COVID), spends time with his family, and works with non-profits.
Jack's experience includes IT strategy and leadership, helping enterprises with system development, application architecture, and business technology planning. He performed duties as VP and CIO at Magellan Associates providing interim CIO services to IT organizations in need of realignment. Prior to Magellan Associates, Santos was at Catholic Medical Center as VP and CIO where he was responsible for implementing computing infrastructure, clinical applications, architecture, and developing wireless infrastructure. He was also an Enterprise Technology Officer for Liberty Mutual Group, and has led IT groups at healthcare, financial services, software, and public sector firms (such as Aetna, Kaiser Permanente, Bowstreet Software, and Maximus.)
Jack has been honored with Computerworld’s Premier 100 IT Leaders award, has presented at numerous IT & business conferences, and chaired the eCoast Technology Roundtable (an economic development effort by the Portsmouth, NH Chamber of Commerce.) He was the founder of Newburyport Massachusetts "If This House Could Talk" annual event.
